Grosvenor Engineering is seeking a skilled Carpenter with extensive experience in all aspects of fire doors and smoke seals to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and inspecting fire doors across various commercial and residential properties within the Sydney metro area.
Service, Maintenance, and breakdowns are all part of your daily routine, with your own allocated run across a variety of sites.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities
· Install, maintain, and inspect fire doors in compliance with fire safety regulations and industry standards.
· Ensure proper functionality and integrity of fire doors and smoke seals to enhance the safety of buildings.
· Collaborate with project managers, building managers, and other professionals to integrate fire protection solutions.
· Provide detailed documentation and reports on the condition and maintenance of fire doors, smoke seals, and penetration seals.
· Stay current with the latest fire safety codes, regulations, and best practices.
Desired Skills and Experience
Qualifications:
· Strong understanding of fire safety codes, regulations, and standards.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Strong communication and documentation skills.
· Experience with penetration sealing is highly beneficial but not essential.
