Job Description

What will you do?

Based out of our Keysborough, Melbourne office with some allowance for working from home, you will be integral part of our national BMS team, working closely with HVAC, Electrical, Construction, Analytics and Sustainability teams.

  • Lend your expertise to a senior project and service team.
  • Design and estimate BMS support options for a variety of projects from $10,000 - $10M.
  • Continually strive to improve the quality and responsiveness of our estimating team.
  • Optimise, own and maintain estimation processes, tools and procedures for national BMS support.
  • Estimation Support across the BMS and Building Optimisation Teams
  • Manage the sales template resource environment
  • Coordinate with suppliers and sub-contractors to achieve delivery targets.
  • Provide value engineering options to both internal and external clients.
  • Pre-Tender Engineering for estimation            
  • Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Desired Skills and Experience

What do you bring to the table?

  • A strong working knowledge of BMS design, installation and maintenance services, pricing and capabilities
  • A mechanical trade, TAFE qualification in HVAC or tertiary qualification in Mechanical, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering
  • 5+ Years Experience in the BMS industry in commercial offices and retail sectors
  • Good understanding of tenancy fit outs / refurb projects
  • Agility in coordinating and delivering multiple high value tenders in our target market
  • Proven ability in coordinating resources & materials
  • Strong experience in providing detailed tenders and proposals in a timely fashion
  • Technical knowledge and resourcefulness in offering design solutions
  • The ability to provide quality advice to colleagues and clients 
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and emotional awareness to enable you to liaise with stakeholders of all levels.
  • Ability to work autonomously or in a team environments
  • The ability to maintain a clear line of communication between internal/external clients and our Estimators & Project Managers
  • Curiosity and focus on quality, consistently seeking opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office
