Due to a continued growth, we’re on the lookout for a top talent Service Manager - HVAC to work out of our Adelaide office. You’ll build long lasting relationships with our customers by using your proven track record in team leadership, effective contract management and premium service delivery to your customer portfolios.

Job Description

About the Role:

  • As a Service Manager, the primary responsibilities lie in acting as the main point of contact within Grosvenor for your clients and assigned service delivery team. You will liaise with Work coordinators, and other Grosvenor employees to ensure a high level of quality is delivered through work activities and operational requirements of the business are being achieved.
  • Provide clients with strategic operational advice including asset capital expenditure, pricing/estimating HVAC maintenance opportunities, develop tailored customer budgets and identify new business opportunities.
  • Carry out project audits annually and assist to digitize and present information to Clients.
  • Development of client relationships to ensure client satisfaction
  • Attend client meetings involving client personnel beyond “Building Supervisors” that you deal with “day to day”.
  • Provide timely recommendation based on defects obtained during our maintenances
  • Follow leads for potential works utilizing internal resources to tender and deliver large scale works
  • Effectively manage the HVAC operations across your portfolio of customer projects to meet compliance and contractual obligations
  • Liaise with customers to ensure service levels are meeting/exceeding expectations
  • Act as point of escalation and resolve customer complaints/issues – evaluate and investigate scenarios to develop optimised solutions
  • Provide applied thinking, listening to client requirements ensuring deliverable and tangible outcomes
  • Apply skills and act as Subject Matter Expert to provide qualified advisory services, including approving quotes and ensuring compliance
  • Provide Technical Support to your Team and deal with your projects and clients “day to day” issues
  • Develop effective KPI’s (Team & individual) aligned to business outcomes
  • Consistent review and delivery of the service teams hazard reports, site surveys, LTIs and MTIs.
  • Meeting Client Requirements: Comply with customer/client requirements imposed on Grosvenor which may apply to performing your work at their site.

Desired Skills and Experience

Skills & Experience:

  • Hold recognised trade qualifications in relevant field
  • Hold a current Drivers Licence and WH&S General Induction Card
  • Tertiary qualification in management – desirable
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a Service / Account Management role where you have successfully managed a team of service technicians
  • Strong business/commercial acumen and financial skills
  • Strong client relationship management experience, with proven ability to exceed customer expectations
  • Team leadership experience, including the ability to develop, coach and mentor employees
  • Strong planning and organisational skills, including confidence with software, computers, Apps etc
  • Advanced communication skills with proven experience in resolving client conflict, client relationship building and presenting formally to clients
