Grosvenor are looking for an enthusiastic HVAC technician to join the mechanical/rigging team in Sydney. We’re looking for someone who wants to learn, strives to kick goals and has a bit of fun while getting the job done.
Job Description
What will you do?
Identify defective mechanical components across a range of HVAC systems.
Replace drive shafts, bearings, motors & pulleys.
Major asset overhaul and rebuild activities on pumps and other mechanical components.
Rigging plant equipment
Servicing on major mechanical assets.
Laser Alignment of pumps and motors
Various repairs in commercial buildings including high rise office towers, shopping centres and Data Centres.
Work with some of the best technicians Australia has to offer in a motivated team environment.
Identify hazards and safety issues.
Liaise with work coordinators and management.
Provide high level customer service to clients.
Identify opportunities for potential repairs, upgrade works, refurbishments, and new business.
Desired Skills and Experience
What do you bring to the table?
A current driver’s licence.
WHS construction induction card
Awesome interpersonal skills & top-notch customer service
A willingness to work outside of business hours.
One of the following trades/ Tickets
Mechanical plumbing Licence.
HVAC trade qualification and applicable licences
Dogging and Rigging Ticket
Mechanical Fitting Licence
Experience in the HVAC industry, or similar roles with a focus on mechanical repair or asset replacements is desirable, along with a solid mechanical aptitude.
