Grosvenor Engineering Group is a leader in asset management in the commercial space. We maintain, service and build Fire, HVAC and Electrical systems across Australia and New Zealand. 

We are looking for someone who wants more for their career and who is a passionate about success. We have an opening for the right person to get in on the ground floor of our newly formed Fire Construction business to complement the growth and success of the Fire Services Team in Adelaide. This role is suited to an experienced candidate who has significant technical expertise in the Fire Industry and is looking for an opportunity to have direct input into the success and future of a business.

Job Description

What will you do?

  • Work along the Fire Services and HVAC Construction teams to grow and develop our Fire opportunities South Australia
  • Design and Estimate a variety of Fire projects  across a range of sizes.
  • Continually strive to improve the quality and responsiveness of our Fire Construction team.
  • Work within the local senior management team to build and foster customer relationships built on a foundation of responsiveness and attention to detail.
  • Provide value engineering options to both internal and external clients.
  • Provide strategic input on the direction, size and scale regarding future growth and expansion opportunities.
  • Harness your natural instincts for business and put them into practice daily while implementing your divisions strategic plans for the future.

Desired Skills and Experience

What do you bring to the table?

  • An Electrical trade or tertiary qualification in Fire Protection Engineering
  • Previous exposure to commercial contracting is a plus, and or training can be provided.
  • An aptitude and appetite for continued learning and desire for success.
  • Agility in coordinating and delivering multiple high value tenders.
  • Technical knowledge and resourcefulness in offering design solutions
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills for both colleagues and clients alike.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and emotional awareness to enable you to liaise with stakeholders of all levels.
  • Ability to work autonomously while operating in a team environment.
  • The ability to maintain a clear line of communication between internal/external clients and our Estimators, Project Managers and other internal key stake holders within the organisation.
  • Curiosity and focus on quality, consistently seeking opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office
