About the Role

We’re seeking an Energy Engineer to manage multiple client portfolios using utility analytics, energy billing systems, and performance optimisation frameworks. You will oversee the full data → insight → action → validation cycle, ensuring high‑quality reporting, strong data integrity, and continuous improvement of building energy performance.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse interval, energy billing, and asset data to report monthly/quarterly results. 

• Validate utility data and maintain >98% data completeness. 

• Identify and quantify energy efficiency opportunities and performance gaps.

• Oversight and ensure energy usage and cost reduction targets are met. 

• Manage insights from the analytics engine; reduce false positives/negatives. 

• Liaise with utilities, MDAs, subcontractors, and internal teams. 

• Prepare and present insight reports and optimisation recommendations. 

• Support M&V, tariff modelling, baselining, site benchmarking, and onboarding. 

• Collaborate with Product & Software teams to enhance automation and automated workflows.

Desired Skills and Experience

Skills & Experience – Essential

• Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Energy Systems). 

• Strong analytical mindset and experience with large datasets. 

• Understanding of energy billing, tariffs, meter data, and building O&M. 

• Experience in data validation and reporting. 

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

 

Desirable

• Experience with EMS, or data analytics platforms. 

• Familiarity with automation tools or API integrations. 

• Knowledge of ESG/NABERS/M&V reporting frameworks.
