Due to a continued growth, we’re on the lookout for a top talent Compliance Auditor - HVAC to work out of our Moorebank office. You’ll build long lasting relationships with our customers by using your skills to identify deficiencies and provide solutions! 

Job Description

About the Role:

  • Assist the Compliance Team Leader and Compliance Manager to manage the annual compliance process from end to end, within the GEG Moorebank business unit.
  • Complete onsite fire safety assessments as required by the Australian Standards and local requirements and provide detailed reports identifying the status of each fire safety measure
  • Ensure a high standard in constancy and accuracy of the annual reporting.
  • Drive the current checklist process to ensure the timely delivery of the annual certification including the endorsement of assessed measures on the AFSS.
  • Work with CAMS, essential services team and other managers in regards technical compliance issues and pricing.
  • Work with CAMS, essential services team and other managers in regard to the close out of survey related items.
  • Attend regular compliance/ AFSS meetings with relevant stakeholders to ensure the delivery of the annual certification.
  • Assist service department in the implementation new and improved concepts.
  • Assist other departments as required with technical support.
  • Assist where required in quote or tender requirements based on available skill sets.

Desired Skills and Experience

Skills & Experience:

  • Related Trade background
  • FPAA Fire Safety Assessor Accreditation
  • Fire System Design (Assessment) Diploma
  • Strong knowledge of role applicable Australian and BCA/NCC Standards
  • Relevant HVAC maintenance experience
  • Strong understanding of the requirements of a AS1851-2012 as well as a detailed understanding of the Annual Fire Safety Statement process.
