Job Description

You will be responsible for:

  • Growth of the Fire Construction / Minor Works business.
  • Identifying and actioning construction leads,
  • Project managing minor works refurbishment and Fitout projects (including managing sub-contractors or internal employees) to a profitable conclusion.
  • Support the service team when appropriate and by consultation.
  • Overseeing the planning and delivery of projects, including providing design options and solutions
  • Provide high level stakeholder engagement and expectation management to ensure effective deliver of project outcomes. 

Desired Skills and Experience

Requirements:

  • Trade and or Tertiary qualifications – Fire industry QBCC or FPAS preferred. 
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Project Management preferably in the minor works and construction industry for Commercial Buildings or similar.
  • Wet & Dry Fire System Knowledge. 
  • Exposure to projects in the Fire industry specifically
  • Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.
  • Word, MS Excel and MS Project computer skills essential
  • Experience in utilising project management methodologies to effectively manage projects
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills
