Due to continued growth, we are looking for a  Construction Project Manager – HVAC to join the team and work out of our office in Canberra.

Job Description

The Role: 

  • Co-ordinate & deliver refurbishment and fit out construction projects.  This will involve identifying design options, interpreting project requirements, equipment selection, management of labour and subcontractors, WHS & site management, Quality management, monitor & manage project costs preparing & co-ordinating project documentation.
  • Provide high level stakeholder engagement and manage expectations to ensure effective delivery of project outcomes.
  • Co-ordinate and schedule project related tasks.
  • Monitor project costs, Invoicing and sub-contractor pricing.
  • Provide high quality service to clients.   
  • Assisting with the design preparation of D+C projects including Attending sites, problem solving, scoping and pricing works for both existing and non-contracted clients
  • Co‐ordinate & deliver tender proposals in our target markets. This will involve preparing tender submissions. Co‐ordinating supplier & subcontractor pricing and reviewing of proposals. Reviewing specifications and drawings, site conditions, design briefs and project requirements. Meeting submission deadlines.

Desired Skills and Experience

Selection Criteria 

  • Experience in Project Management of HVAC projects preferably in the construction industry.
  • Experienced HVAC technicians or HVAC engineers with high level technical skills and exposure to installation works, may be considered.
  • Exposure to a variety of HVAC projects / installations in the mechanical industry.
  • Experience managing and working to project budgets.
  • Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.
  • Estimating experience preferred.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills including strong stakeholder engagement ability.
  • Experience managing or implementing HSEQ requirements with a keen focus on all aspects of safety.
  • Experience in HVAC essential - preferably in the Brisbane market.
