Job Description
What will you do?
Work in the Service Department along with Operations Manager, Service Managers and Technicians
Estimate and prepare quotations for remedial works identified by field staff
Assist account managers, service managers and Operations Managers to prepare service quotations and maintenance proposals
Coordinate with suppliers and sub-contractors to build relationships and negotiate competitive pricing to add value to our customers.
Review proposals from our sub-contractor network for value and fit for purpose
Build a repository of common works associated with service works to improve efficiencies in quoting
Desired Skills and Experience
What do you bring to the table?
A mechanical trade or tertiary qualification in HVAC
Experience in the HVAC mechanical industry in commercial offices and retail sectors
Proven ability in coordinating resources & materials
Strong experience in providing detailed quotations and proposals in a timely fashion
Technical knowledge and resourcefulness in offering design solutions
The ability to provide quality advice to colleagues and clients
Excellent communication and relationship management skills
Well-developed interpersonal skills and emotional awareness to enable you to liaise with stakeholders of all levels.
Ability to work autonomously or in a team environments
The ability to maintain a clear line of communication between internal/external clients and our Estimators &Project Managers
Curiosity and focus on quality, consistently seeking opportunities for continuous improvement.
Proficiency using Microsoft Office
